             సుమారు దశాబ్దం తర్వాత స్వరాష్ట్రంలో మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా గ్రూప్‌ -1 మొదలుకొని,S. ఎలా చదవాలి ?
ఉమ్మడిగా పైన పేర్కొన్న సిలబస్‌ను క్షుణ్ణంగా పరిశీలించి అన్నింటిలో సాధారణంగా ఉండే అంశాలను గుర్తించి దాని కనుగుణంగా మీ ప్రణాళికను సిద్ధం చేసుకోవాలి.
మార్కెట్లో ఉండే అన్ని పుస్తకాలను కొని గందరగోళానికి గురికాకుండా ప్రామాణికమైన పుస్తకాలను చదివి నోట్స్‌ ప్రిపేర్‌ చేసుకోవాలి. ఇందులో ముఖ్యంగా పదవ తరగతి స్థాయిలో ఉన్న ఇంగ్లీష్‌ పాఠ్య పుస్తకాల్లోని గ్రామర్‌ సంబంధిత అంశాలను, పదాలు, వాటి అర్థాలు, పర్యాయ పదాలు, వ్యతిరేక పదాలు, జాతీయాలు, సామెతలు లాంటి వాటిపై దష్టి సారించాలి.

The following are the core areas in the upcoming competitive Examinations.
1. Subject - Verb agreement, Conditionals and Tenses - ఈ మూడు టాపిక్స్‌ నుండి 2-3 మార్క్స్‌ రావడానికి ఆస్కారం ఉంది. ప్రధానంగా ఇంగ్లీష్‌ వాక్య నిర్మాణానికిSubject - verb - Agreement  ఎంత ప్రధానమో ప్రధాన క్రియా రూపాలు, నిజ జీవితంలో టెన్సెస్‌ యొక్క వాడుక, దాని ప్రత్యేకతలు, structure patterns, conditional  tenses యొక్క usage నిజ జీవితంలో ఎలా అన్వయించుకుంటామో గమనించదగిన అంశాలు.
2. Articles and Prepositions- టాపిక్స్‌ నుండి 1-2 questions will be asked on the usage of A, An and the, the omission of Articles or Zero Articles మరియుPreposition topic నుండి correct use of preposition and words followed by prepositions, prepositions types పైన ప్రశ్నలు రావడానికి అవకాశం ఉంది.
3. parts of speech నుండి 1-2 questions will be asked indepth, rather than  Identifying the parts of speech.
    The candidates have to focus on correct usage of Nouns & pronouns, Adjectives, Adverbs -Correct order of Adverbs.
    Types of Conjunctions- Co-ordinating, co-relative and Superlative conjunctions and its appropriate usage in day- to- day life.
4.Transformation of sentences నుండి 2-3 మార్కులను Rules and usage of Reported speech, change of Voice from Active to passive vice- verse.
    Degrees of Comparison, different forms of Adjectives, transformation/change of sentences from Positive Degree to Comparative Degree, Comparative Degree to Superlative Degree. and need to learn the correct usage of comparisons.
5.Question Tags - 1 Mark.
    In this topic sometimes the question may be asked in colloquial language to test the candidates communicative competence in language usage.
6.    Phrases and clauses will be given for 1 Mark.
7.  Reading comprehension - a prose Comprehension will be given to the reading abilities of the candidates.- In answering comprehension questions, one must follow the strategies & techniques, practice is compulsory to get maximum marks. In this topic Understanding the theme /concept, reasons are important, new phrases, words & Vocabulary tested from the passage directly or indirectly.
8.  Language skills and Composition : In this part questions Will be asked from Letter writing, Precis writing, Paragraph writing, Translations, Essay writing etc.-Special focus is needed to improve communication, Reading and writing to score marks.
9. Spotting of Errors: Finding an error in the given sentences, contextual usage of prepositions, Articles, parts of speech- usage of Nouns, pronouns, Adjectives and Adverbs, different Conditionals, Singular, plural, verb forms, S-V-O pattern, Basic Structures of Simple sentences etc.
10 .Word power : In Vocabulary part Synonyms, Antonyms, Root words, suffixes, prefixes, Homophones, Homographs, Homonyms, Phrasal verbs, Idiomatic expressions, proverbs, one-word substitutes, Active and Passive vocabulary from School texts etc.
11. Word grammar లో ప్రదానంగా a. Spelling b. Commonly misspelt words c. Silent lettersపై ఫోకస్‌ చెయ్యాలి.
Basic Englishలో భాగంగా అభ్యర్థులు ఇంగ్లీష్‌ భాషా నైపుణ్యాలపై దృష్టి సారించాలి. అందులో ప్రధానంగా Helping verbs, Model Auxiliaries, Non-finite verbs, Gerunds, participles and Infinitives. కమ్యూనికేటివ్‌ ఇంగ్లీష్‌ లో లాంగ్వేజ్‌ ఫంక్షన్స్‌ పైన మరియు colloquial Language పైన ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతున్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా గ్రామర్‌ రూల్స్‌ పైన మరియు ఇంగ్లీష్‌ లాంగ్వేజ్‌ ని నిజజీవితంలో ప్రతి రోజు ఎలా వాడుతున్నారు అనే అంశాలపైన (Practing/Usage of the English language in Day to Day life) ప్రశ్నలు రావడానికి అవకాశం ఉంది.
