My dear inquisitive learners of English. This lesson is also about the description of the photos.
Here neither the questions nor the answers are given. Only photos are given. You have to work both on questions and answers.
Use this vocabulary :
tallest animal, elongated neck, spotted with, long thin spindly legs, eat leaves.
Pronunciation tip - Don’t Say జిరాఫీ.
Say జిరాఫ్.
NOTES AND EXPLANATION :
1. Giraffe
1. elongated = long, enlarged and overstretched = సాగిన, పొడవైన
2. spotted with = marked with = చుక్కలు అద్దినట్టు, కలిగిన.
*spindly = long or tall and thin legs = పొడవైన, సన్నని కాళ్లు
What do you find in the picture? What kind of family does it belong to? Describe its body– its colour, its body, legs and its tail. Is it a wild or domestic animal? What does it eat? How does it get its food? Does it run fast? How long is its tail? What are its kids called?
Paragaph:
We see a tiger in the picture. The tiger is a wild animal. It belongs to cat family. Its colour is a blend of yellow and white. Black streaks spread over its entire body. It has a large head, muscular body and a long tail. Its four legs are very heavy and strong. It looks majestic. Its colour is a blend of yellow and white. The hind legs are longer than its forelegs. They help it to leap forward long distances. It runs at an amazing speed. It is a ferocious animal. It is carnivorous. It hunts animals by chasing them. It has strong claws and teeth. With their help, it tears apart the hunted animals and eats their flesh. It has a long tail which is almost a meter long. Its kids are called cubs.

2. majestic: dignified, stately, awesome = గంభీరమైన
