DESCRIPTIONS
PART - A
“The world is a rose, smell it and pass it to your friends.” a Persian proverb.
There is a rose in this photo. It is very beautiful. It sits like a queen on the throne of the stem. It looks dignified. It is erect. It is red in colour. Its petals are many. While its stem is green, the flower is red. Very pleasant and attractive! It has four small branches. As there are five green leaves on one branch, the other two have three on them. But one branch, I think, has four that are yet to unfold. (about to grow or open) There are thorns on the stem. They are for protection. The rose is the most beautiful of all flowers. Most people associate it with LOVE. Poets symbolise it with passion.
Note : Your task is to make questions.
The two photos given below help to think many things about a rose and get a wealth of information. Share it with your friends. Do this activity in pairs.
